Vehicle breakdowns—whether from an empty EV battery, fuel issues, flat tires, or mechanical failures—leave drivers stranded, stressed, and uncertain about how to get help, especially in remote or unfamiliar locations. Current roadside assistance solutions are fragmented, slow, or limited to specific vehicle types, leaving users without reliable, real-time support. There is a pressing need for a unified, smart roadside assistance platform that serves all vehicle owners—EVs, petrol bikes, and cars—by connecting them quickly to verified service providers with location tracking and instant response.
Instant Help Requests – A single emergency button allows users to request assistance immediately.
Real-Time Location Tracking – Live GPS sharing helps service providers reach stranded users faster.
Verified Service Provider Network – Only trusted mechanics, tow trucks, and EV charging partners are connected.
Multi-Vehicle Support – The app covers EVs, petrol bikes, scooters, and cars under one platform.
Portable Charging & Fuel Delivery – On-demand EV charging and fuel delivery right where the user is stranded.
24/7 Availability – Assistance is available anytime, anywhere.
Transparent Pricing – Users can see upfront service costs, avoiding hidden charges.
User-Friendly Experience – Minimal taps, simple navigation, and multilingual support for diverse users.

RoadMate involved designing for high-stress and emergency scenarios, where users may be anxious, rushed, or distracted. The challenge was to reduce cognitive load and surface only the most critical actions at the right moment. Prioritizing speed, clarity, and safety while avoiding interface clutter was essential to ensure usability during real-world roadside situations.
